Yoshimi Itazu's directorial debut mid-lenght film Pigtails won the Special Jury Award at the 2017 annual North American Film Awards. Winners were announced on November 30, 2017.

Now in its third edition, with an industry professional jury from the USA and Canada, NAFA aims to discover, recognize and celebrate the very best filmmaking talent and rising stars of our generation.
