Yoshimi Itazu's directorial debut mid-lenght film Pigtails is screening at the 5th Viborg Animation Festival (VAF), to be held in Viborg, Denmark, from September 26 to October 1, 2017.

VAF is Denmark's largest animation festival and a celebration of all the possibilities that derive from the animation medium. The festival brings a world of imagination and storytelling alive through the genius of some of the world's most outstanding animators, featuring new works, long and short films, documentary formats as well as showcasing animation tools for business and social enterprises.

This year, the Viborg Animation Festival will honor 150-years of diplomatic relations between Japan and Denmark by exploring the richness of animation and its importance in each of the disparate cultures.
