Shinsuke Sato's Oblivion Island: Haruka and the Magic Mirror has been selected for Imagine: 26th Amsterdam Fantastic Film Festival (AFFF 2010), to be held in Amsterdam, The Netherlands from April 14 to 24, 2010. The screening at AFFF 2010 marks the movie's Dutch premiere.

An affiliated member of the European Fantastic Film Festivals Federation, in its previous editions the AFFF has awarded filmmakers such as Jonathan Demme (The Silence of the Lambs), Katsuhiro Otomo (Akira), David Cronemberg (eXistenZ) and Hayao Miyazaki (Spirited Away)
