Episode 1 of TV series xxxHOLiC (2006), based on CLAMP original comic book and directed by Tsutomu Mizushima, has been officially selected for the prestigious Annecy International Animated Film Festival 2007 in the TV Series category. The festival, in its 20th year, will be held from June 11 to 16.
This is the second nomination for director Mizushima and Production I.G for two consecutive editions of the festival. Last year, the feature film xxxHOLiC - A Midsummer Night's Dream (2005) was selected for the Feature Films section.
