Keiichi Hara's award winning feature film, Miss Hokusai is screening in Milan as part of a special programme dedicated to art in Japanese cinema, entitled "Hokusai, il monte Fuji, i luoghi e i volti del Giappone" (Hokusai, Mount Fuji, Places and Faces of Japan). The screenings are presented with the patronage of the City of Milan in cooperation with the Italian Film Library, in concomitance with an exhibitions of ukiyo-e from Hokusai, Hiroshige and Utamaro at the city's Royal Palace, and in celebration of the 150th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Japan and Italy. The screenings are taking place at the Film Library's venue, Spazio Oberdan.
